PEAR SALAD WITH BLEU CHEESE CROUTONS
Ingredients
- 1 pear, cut into matchsticks
- 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, toasted
- 3 cups mixed greens
- 2-3 slices of french bread, 1.5 cups
- 2 Tbsp Lake George Olive Oil Co. Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 4 Tbsp bleu cheese
- 1/4 cup Lake George Olive Oil Co. Cinnamon Pear Dark Balsamic Vinegar
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Toss French bread cubes with Lake George Olive Oil Co. Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive Oil to coat. Add bleu cheese and combine well. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Allow the bread to cool.
- Combine the mixed greens, pumpkin seeds, and pear. Drizzle Lake George Olive Oil Co. Cinnamon Pear Dark Balsamic Vinegar and Lake George Olive Oil Co. Hojiblanca Extra Virgin Olive Oil over the salad to coat. Top with bleu cheese croutons and remaining bleu cheese crumbles.
